I'm sorry, Lindsay, but where do you get off being so reasonable? (that was sarcasm in case it doesn't translate).

You're obviously not a Republican (well, at least, I don't think so, but I digress) but the hell of it is, that is actually a CONSERVATIVE position. Or at least it should be.

I don't remember where I heard this, but I did hear that back before Roe, Barry Goldwater's daughter became pregnant out of wedlock. And what did Sen Goldwater – one of the most extremely 'Conserative' politicians of the 20th century tell his daughter? He said "the state has no business in what you decide." Or at least, that's the tale I heard. You could look it up...

Still, it's hard to fathom that Barry Goldwater was one of the last of the truly reasonable "Conservatives."

I shall now read the rest... had to get that off my chest first.
